Bio

I was born in Tirana, Albania, in 1990. From 2008 to 2011, I lived in Germany, where I studied the German language in Munich and completed a pre-university year in Leipzig. From 2012 to 2017, I pursued higher education at "Polis University" in Tirana, graduating in 2017 with a Master of Science degree in Urban Planning. Currently, I work remotely as an urban planner, designer, and cartographer, while also pursuing my passions in visual arts, such as painting and photography.

From a young age, I have been captivated by the world of arts, finding endless joy and inspiration in its various forms. As a child, I spent hours drawing, painting, and creating, losing myself in the vibrant colors and imaginative scenes I could bring to life. This early passion for the arts only grew stronger over the years, leading me to explore different mediums and techniques.

In addition to painting, I have always wanted to capture fragments of beauty and record them on film. That’s why I decided to buy my first camera in 2008, and since then, I have never stopped photographing. I have received numerous photographic awards, including three in the "Colors of Albanian Orthodoxy" competition, as well as the first prize in the fifth edition of the "Tirana Photo Festival."

In September 2020, I became involved in art restoration, helping restore and retouch an 18th-century wall painting in a Post-Byzantine church in Albania. From 2020 to 2021, I co-wrote a book with Agron Ding about the symbolism of the Iconostasis.

The year 2023 was remarkably successful for me. I opened my first personal artistic exhibition, marking a significant milestone in my creative journey. Alongside this, I completed my scientific study, culminating in the writing of my second book, “Christianity from Illyrians to Albanians,” which is set to be published very soon.

In September 2023, I moved to Canada from Albania, and I intend to further develop my artistic and professional career in the country.
